Human rights is a basic fundamental right.

Andrea Thielk is accredited by Osgoode Hall Law School in Human Rights Theory and Practice. 

The Ontario Human Rights Code prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, colour, ethnic origin, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital and family status.  All individuals are entitled to equal treatment with respect to services, good and facilities and are also entitled to equal terms in employment, housing accommodation and services.

Many organizations have adopted anti-discrimination and harassment policies setting out their procedure for handling and addressing complaints received whether by means of an informal or a formal process.  All Applicants may also file a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
